VSCO has always been a place for the photography community to connect and be inspired so that they can grow creatively and professionally. One thing we know that is essential for growth is feedback. Whether it be through peers, mentors or potential clients people aspire to work with, having a way to accept healthy and constructive feedback has become something the VSCO community has been craving.

Well the wait is over. We’re excited to launch Discussions, enabling our members to engage in conversations on posts. Previously only available in Spaces, now you can enable discussions for any of your posts at any time. Discussions can be used in a variety of ways including asking a question about technique or process, complimenting a creator’s work, or giving and receiving feedback.

Discussions are a member-driven community experience, available to our Plus and Pro Members. This member-only experience allows us to maintain an authentic creative community where conversations can occur in a healthy and supportive way.

We understand that some of our members may not want to allow discussions on their posts — or may want to engage in discussions on some posts, but not others. You have complete control. We designed Discussions with safety in mind, and you can enable or disable Discussions on each of your posts to engage in the way that feels right for you.

Beyond Discussions, there continue to be many ways to connect with others on VSCO. You can collaborate with others in Spaces, send direct messages, and repost images and videos to your VSCO feed. Discover the full community experience.

We’ve heard from countless photographers that they want an authentic place to come together, find community, learn from each other, and get support with their creative and professional journeys. We’re listening to this feedback and will continue to deliver what’s necessary to make VSCO into that place.

Here’s to building the creative community we want, together.
