“Art has allowed me to venture into the different parts of myself and show them in digital or physical form. I’ve been able to show the most vulnerable parts of myself, while at the same time documenting the little badass inside of me that teenage angst has brought out.”

“Everyone has a different thing they don't necessarily love to showcase about themselves, and I always say that I'm half-elf, because one of my ears sticks out much more than the other. Before a shoot, I get so nervous and almost scared about what kind of hairstyle I'll be getting. I hope to get over this one day and learn to fully embrace the elf in me!”

“I’ve become much more comfortable and content with being my most authentic self recently. Of course I’m still constantly working on it, but I think I’ve come a long way since I started going to a school where individuality is strongly encouraged.”

“I feel a lot of pressure to be original because I’m constantly seeing other people’s work on social media. It’s always like, ‘Okay, how do I be different? How do I make this personal?’”

“While I cannot remember a specific and profound singular moment of self acceptance glory, I do remember having the thought, ‘What team am I on?’ This was notable...because it made me realize that MY team was the only option.”
