VSCO Sites Update
When we launched Visual Supply Co in November of 2011, we set out to make the best products possible. Our mission has not changed. If anything, the support we’ve received from the creative community has sparked a fire to push harder for excellence.
When we entered Beta testing for Sites this Spring as planned, we were excited to see how it would be received and used. We soon realized that though powerful and customizable, it was not elegant or useful in the way we desired.
We continue to pour our blood, sweat and tears into VSCO Sites. This is an update, not a goodbye. In fact, we’re looking for a couple ace developers to join our team. Interested? Know someone who is?
“Are you killing VSCO Sites?”
VSCO Sites is NOT dead. We continue to forge ahead and build what we feel will be the best site builder and Content Management System out there. We’ve taken what we’ve learned from the first round of Beta testing and are revising, rethinking and implementing how VSCO Sites works.
“Why not just launch VSCO Sites now? I’m sure it will be good enough!”
If it was just about the money, VSCO Sites would be launched. But it’s never been just about the money. It’s always been about crafting beautiful, useful products that we are proud to put our name on and that we would be excited to use ourselves.
“When will VSCO Sites be ready?”
We’ve learned it’s best not to announce dates, even general ones. So at the risk of sounding snarky, Sites will be ready when they are ready. Trust us, no one wants them out in the public more than we do!
Thank you for your support, constructive criticism and encouragement throughout this process!
