VSCO Cam® 3.0 for iOS + VSCO Grid℠

This is about pouring every ounce of blood, sweat and tears into something worth believing in. This is about the power of art for art’s sake and the belief that a photo can change perspectives, moods and lives. This is about a worldwide movement of millions creating with reckless abandon for the love of craft and community.

If this is you, then this is for you.

When VSCO Cam + VSCO Grid was released for iOS in the summer of 2013, our desire was to raise the standard for how photography was shot, edited, and shared. Today marks our biggest leap forward yet: we've faithfully updated VSCO Cam for iOS + VSCO Grid across the board with the new features, updates and improvements you've requested. Rest assured, these new features will be launched for Android in the near future.

Update VSCO Cam in the App Store.

VSCO Cam 3.0 is now fully integrated with VSCO Grid, our free photo publishing platform. Millions of images from the community have been uploaded to VSCO Grid, and we couldn't be prouder of the original and inspiring imagery you've created. This new release of VSCO Cam makes it easier to create your VSCO Grid, share images and discover amazing content from photographers around the world.

Feed & Follow

Follow is now directly integrated into VSCO Grid in-app, allowing you to find and follow other photographers within the VSCO community via Search, or the curated VSCO Grid, which showcases photography from all corners of the world. Consider it an ever-changing gallery that honors art and artist, a personal feed where you can view the latest images of those you follow.

Tilt & Level in Camera ensures your photos are properly aligned. Horizontally and vertically align your compositions to achieve your desired perspective. Be sure to update to iOS 7.0.4 in order for this tool to operate properly.

Streamlined Interface

The Menu has been updated to allow for quicker access to VSCO Grid and your Grid Manager. You’ll also notice other subtle UI/UX improvements throughout the app.

Privacy Updates

We take your privacy very seriously and have implemented the ability to turn on or off location settings when sharing an image, as well as setting your default preferences for future images uploaded to VSCO Grid. You can also turn off location for any images already shared to VSCO Grid via the Grid Manager > Image Description in VSCO Cam.

And Most Importantly, Thank You

Additionally, we’ve made more than twenty performance enhancements and bug fixes to substantially improve VSCO Cam + VSCO Grid. And while we are proud of this update, we are most proud that we built this together with you, the VSCO community. Thank you for the constructive criticism, positive reviews and just telling your friends about VSCO. This has been, is, and will continue to be about “us”- the creative community.
